Is it time to Move Our Community and the Country Forward..

Is it time to move forward?  I think it's time to perhaps change the national discourse.  And to the media, who deserves an Academy Award for their cunning 'coverage' that really serves to do nothing but to fuel the flames. Again, a financial reward for them.

Where are we as a people?  I often say that if you want to deal with racism, first you must deal with greed.  It's clear that there are many out there who view our community as nothing but cash registers.  There are those who completely benefit financially from all of the in-fighting and violence.

I don't think that, as a nation, we can continue to sweep racism under the rug.  I think America is old enough to handle an adult conversation about all the issue.  We can grow from these misfortunes but we need all the players and a dose of realness. 

Are we ready to move forward?  I think so..
