Wrap Up from first tour stop:  Brooklyn, New York on Saturday, July 12th, 2014.  HaiRadio.com thanks the LEGENDS who were all magnificent with their presentations on healthy hair!  Our participants expectations were all exceeded with the level of knowledge and class that the legends demonstrated.  The presentations were bidirectional.  The information flowed naturally in both directions. When you have the expertise of our panel including the great Thando Kafele, Kyle 'KB' Bullock, Gloria Rease, Tangie the Braider, Lisa Haidara on motivational speaking, Shivonne Richards on business and the business of hair. Dr. Prenik James anchored the event with her deep trove of hair knowledge all based around her years of experience as a trichologist.  

When HaiRadio.com designed the plans for the event, we wanted to have a dynamic learning atmosphere and the classroom setting knocked it out of the park!  It was the perfect location for our kick off event in Brooklyn, New York.  All of the legends were able to maneuver beautifully as they connected with the audience of professional hairstylists, barbers, braiders and natural hair specialists.  

Our event also featured our own receptions area where our sponsor, ID Life had presented their product the entire day of the event.  They've got the best tasting shakes and nutrition information I've ever seen and our event participants loved their entire design and message of nutrition and beauty.  The ID Life opened the show with the fabulous Carla Ferrer,.  She is a strikingly beautiful lady with poise and elegance and message to match.  There are many pictures of Carla in our online social media photo album. Susan Eckley Ruch Founding Partner of IDLIFE sponsored the IDLIFE event and her IDLIFE family of Stephanie Carbin, Licensed Cosmetologist, Kevin Reitzen (EMS at FDNY), William Ruch (NJ) & Blodeal Tyler (Phila). I look forward to working with Susan and her team at he next event on July 27th, 2014. 

Road to Healthy Hair Workshop & Networking Tour was a great event for us in that we were able to introduce the release of my new book, "How to Get Rich in the Hair Business".  It coincided with the event.  What perfect timing!  My new book really delivers a powerful and easy to follow approach to adding to your bottom line.  It's written in a story format so it's fun to read, too!  I'm excited that the book is available on Amazon.com and Amazon.CO.UK.  That's America and Europe.  It's, of course, available at HaiRadio.com Website Store.  What an amazing accomplishment.  Thank you for all of your support.

Q: What is “How to Get Rich in the Hair Business” about?
A: It’s a book of encouraging ideas for those who are looking for innovative ways to generate more revenue. The book speaks directly to those in the hair and beauty industry, especially business owners but the principles in “How to Get Rich in the Hair Business” apply across the board.

 Q: Why did you write this book?
 A: As a hair and beauty industry expert, business consultant, hair radio talk show host, entrepreneur and now author, I’m often asked for my ideas and suggestions. We’ve been helping hairstylists, barbers and industry professionals for years at HaiiRadio.com. I wanted to create a tool that could be used as a great first step to generating money. It’s the only real “shortcut to success”.

Q: Some may say that the title is a bit brash or brazen. Do you agree?
A: I think that’s the idea. The title is meant to get you seriously thinking about what you may be doing right and what you may need to focus on to make improvements to your bottom line. I look at it as more so as an important call to action

Q: Can you tell us something that we might not expect to find mentioned in your new book?
A: There are a few surprises in the book. You’ll have to read it for the specifics but I will tell you that my book was written in a very unusual format for a “How to” guide. I wanted it to accomplish the task of introducing great ideas and how to apply them but also wanted it to be entertaining to some degree. Informative and entertaining, so it’s filled with a few great stories that everyone can relate to about my own journey.

A: Having a 24 hour hair and beauty radio network, a magazine and producing hair industry workshops and shows, I've worked with many hair care experts. I decided to include few of my favorite hairstylists in the book. And on my audio version of the book, they are f
eatured as my special guests. You’ll love hearing what they have to say directly to my readers.
