Greetings all!  What will the new year bring to you?  First, HaiRadio.com has many new items to share with you in the new year.  Every new year is a time to reflect and rejoice and we've got many reasons to take the time and rejoice.  2013 was a great year at HaiRadio.com and now we are able to move forward after building a strong foundation to allow us to flourish in 2014. 

We've posted many times about our upcoming radio shows.  You can find out all the details on a press release stored in the Media Room at the HaiRadio.com website.  It's great to be able to introduce our listeners to some other great talent. 

We'll be launching a new Make Up Radio Show with a new host and myself.  You'll get a chance to be introduced very soon.  Additionally, I'll be producing a new show that will focus on offering business tips and strategies for hair and beauty professionals.  We're starting with investment terminology basics.  This will give everyone a chance to get a good foundation of finance and so much more and in the comfort of their own home.

Music Star, Former Member of Gap Band Dorian Paul Williams Talks with HaiRadio.com!

Former Gap Band member, Dorian Paul Williams is hitting the road to empower “C” average students. The purpose of the “C Average Scholarship Tour” is to provide scholarships to high school seniors and college students with limited opportunities or other financial resources that will allow them to reach their maximum potential. 

The Father’s Who Will Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization birthed through Williams’ own experience of being labeled a “C” average student. He defied the confining nature of academic success and created a musical legacy through his solo R & B career singing with greats such as Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Celine Dion; authoring family empowerment books such as “Oh Men of America, Where Are You”, as well as being a successful entrepreneur establishing “Acca-Thera-Praise-Music.”

The foundation’s tour and press conferences will kick off by engaging three cities that have been instrumental in supporting both Dorian’s musical career and his philanthropic initiatives: Atlanta, Dallas, and Houston. 

The Father’s Who Will Foundation will spend a week in each city campaigning for “C” average students, raising funds for scholarships, and hosting a benefit concert.

Williams’ upcoming projects include a new single release, Thank God for Today, and book, “For Mother’s Sake,” dedicated to his mother Connie. S. Williams who passed away from breast cancer. Both will be released in January 2014 and a portion of proceeds will go towards scholarships as well.

The “C “average high school senior or college student is often perceived as sloppy or careless in preparation, uncommitted, lacking attentiveness, having insufficient effort and ultimately deemed as the “under dog”. The Father’s Who Will Foundation challenges this myth and believes that it is not always those who possess the best grades who will attain a prosperous life. Instead, it is those who discover their passion, have strong familial support, and possess the ability to combine a cunning intelligence with business savvy attributes who will be the future leaders of tomorrow; which includes “C” average students.

HaiRadio Food Drive: NYC Hair Salons & Barber Shops ..Help Us Collect Canned Goods! Let's Feed Our Communities!

It's the holiday season and there are many families around New York City who don't have much to eat, not just during the holiday season but everyday.  HaiRadio.com's broadcast home in Brooklyn, New York is spearheading efforts within the local hair and beauty industry.  We're asking for area hair salons and barber shops to set up a box to collect canned goods like tuna and salmon, vegetables, fruits, packaged macaroni and cheese, peanut butter in plastic jars and packaged hot and cold cereals.  Let us know if your shop will be participating, we'd love to hear from you!  These items will be collected and disseminated to those in need through mid-January 2014.  Send an email to Kerry@hairadio.com to get more details and join us!

From 1995 to 2013:  Almost 20 Years of "The Hair Radio Show with Kerry Hines" 

We've had many 'firsts' in the history of the HaiRadio.com brand!  We were the first regular hair and beauty radio show broadcast in 1995 out of Newark, New Jersey and New York.  We were the first to syndicate this type of program to stations in Philadelphia and Atlanta.

In 2006, HaiRadio.com launched the world's first 24 hour hair and beauty radio network!  The HaiRadio Broadcast Network was born.  We've not veered to far off the original scope of the network.  Our focus has always been to support the talented hair and beauty professionals and let them share their expertise with our loyal hair radio show fans.  Now, since 20006 Social Media has expanded a great deal and pushed our reach much further. 

Today in 2013, HaiRadio.com is a prominent hair and beauty promotions powerhouse with the power of broadcasting.  We have about 5 to 10 radio programs in development, working on a television show pilot and much more to be announced.

HaiRadio.com was created in 2006. 

We have celebrated many milestones including appearing in the American Salon Magazine and celebrating the 10th anniversary at the Museum of Radio & Television in New York City. Preview: Hair Radio News Magazine Show "Saturdays at Six" Krystal Brown Talks with Kerry Hines

Our new radio program, a magazine style show similar to popular television programs like 20/20 launches in the next week or two.  It's called, "Saturdays at Six with Kerry Hines".  We'll be talking about whatever is happening in the world at 6pm on Saturdays, broadcasting LIVE on The HaiRadio Broadcast Network.  

Many of you are familiar with the graphic video that shows, Marlon Brown, a young father of two, fleeing the police and being hit by the police car chasing  him.  This occurred in the state of Florida and there's great concern of an alleged cover up between the officials.   The case is being handled by the attorneys who handled the Trayvon Martin case.
