First Month Wrap Up of The Hair Radio Morning Show: Thank You Fans

We must thank all of the fans of The Hair Radio Morning Show.  It's been an extraordinary return to daily broadcasting (Monday through Friday), early early early from 6am to 9am (Eastern).  We broadcast LIVE from New York to the world.  We, literally, have listeners of The Hair Radio Morning Show who tune in with us from Europe and chat with us as we're broadcasting.  It's incredibly exciting!

It was a big deal for me, Kerry Hines, to return to the daily routine of LIVE broadcasting and then doing it for THREE full hours -each broadcast, FIVE times a week.  I've done many radio programs and have looked at some of those jobs as a grind but not this show!  The excitement has been electrifying, right out of the gate.

Our first month (January, 2015) back on the air, we've welcomed superstars from the hair and beauty world.  Thando Kafele helped us to re-introduce the program to our faithful listeners.  He knocked it out of the park with his deep knowledge of locs and just being a great supporter to our show and network.

We nicknamed ourselves, "Celebrity Central".. we welcomed 5 time Grammy Winner, Dionne Warwick, Tony Award Winner, Melba Moore, 3 Time Tony Award Winner, Hinton Battle, Grammy Award Winner, Gerald Alston, Acting Superstar, Antonio "Huggy Bear" Fargas and others!

The HaiRadio Morning Show has also connected with the wonderful folks at The Madame CJ Walker Theatre Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.  More to come from them in February.

Legendary TV & Film Actor Antonio "Huggy Bear" Fargas Comes to The Hair Radio Morning Show

The Hair Radio Morning Show is pleased to welcome television and film legendary actor, Antonio Fargas.  He's recognized for being the coolest and hippest man on the big and small screens.  A known scene giant.

Antonio Fargas shares with us his early years and also how he was able to connect with so many parts and make them his own.   It's almost an understatement not to mention that most his characters have become iconic and are the most memorable characters.

It's a true honor to have him on our show as he's worked with everyone from the great James Baldwin to to Pam Grier of Foxy Brown and so many others.  His turn in All My Children as Angie's dad was a recurring part and helped to drive the major plot of Angie & Jesse.
